Omega Chapter Inductees

Entered the Omega Chapter on April 9, 2010

Evelyn  joined the Macomb Chapter of what was then the National Secretaries Association
(NSA) in April 1956.  The Macomb Chapter helped Evelyn celebrate her 50th anniversary in
April 2006 by presenting her with a card and beautiful anniversary pin.  The Macomb Chapter
is grateful for her many years of support.

Evelyn worked as an executive secretary at Federal Mogul for 42 years and retired in 1984.  
After retiring from full-time employment, she continued working as a consultant at Federal
Mogul for an additional five years.  She later joined a travel club and traveled around
Michigan, Pennsylvania and Canada.  In May 2006 , Evelyn was still doing the bookkeeping
work for a former boss.  Evelyn was 85 years young at that time and very alert.

Mary was employed at Baker College of Muskegon for 10 years as an Administrative Assistant/Cashier in the Business Office. She was an active member and volunteer at her local church St. Thomas the Apostle. She was a member of the Crimson Flames Red Hat Society. She was an active member of the Western Shores Chapter of IAAP serving on the Program and Scholarship Committees during her four years of membership. Mary championed her fight against breast cancer by rallying her co-workers support by wearing pink ribbons and daily clicking on an online link to support research of cancer.

Helen was a graduate of Northwood Institute. She was an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager of Oldsmobile and retired after 47 years of service. She was an active member of the Eaton Rapids Business and Professional Women’s Association for 50 years and a International Association of Administrative Professionals Lansing Tuebor Chapter member for 25 years.
